SCMRC serves the working poor, low-income families, the uninsured and many susceptible and high-risk populations such as: the homeless, the elderly, migrant and seasonal farm workers, poor women and children and people living in remote rural communities.
The organizations operations are funded by federal grants, state funds, Medicaid, Medicare, self-pay patients (who pay on a sliding fee schedule) and by charitable contributions made by private citizens and foundations.
