The Anderson Free Clinic has provided high quality, free medical services to the Anderson community since 1984. It was established by a group of Anderson physicians, nurses, and community volunteers who were interested in providing a source of health care to those in the community who could not afford it and were not eligible for other programs.The Free Clinic provides services such as primary care, specialty referrals, and limited dentistry. The clinic also has an on-site pharmacy which provides prescription drugs to patients. The Free Clinic is not a government agency.It is a private, non-profit organization, which is funded through grants and donations primarily from members of the Anderson community. The Free Clinic has a small paid staff but is mainly supported by volunteers. Doctors, dentists, and other medical professionals donate their time and expertise. Over 250 community volunteers give their time every year to keep the clinic running. Clinic days and hours.
