The first step to treatment in the dental clinic is a New Dental Exam, which includes:

  1. necessary radiographs (x-rays)examination of your existing oral conditions
  2. consultation with the dentist about your recommended treatment
  3. consultation with the financial coordinator about suggested donations

Further treatment will be planned at that appointment, with urgent needs addressed first.

When New Dental Exams are full, urgent dental care is available upon referral from your Good Shepherd Ministries medical provider.

Adult Dental Care:

Good Shepherd Ministries provides

  • limited dental services to adults and children.

Every Monday night during the school year, a limited number of adults may receive treatment for pain, extractions, and some emergency care.

Every other Tuesday night, children may receive limited treatment.

Appointments can be made by calling the clinic office after 9 a.m. on the day of service at (405) 232-8631. 

Children's Dental ClinicOn every other Tuesday evening, Good Shepherd Ministries conducts a Children's Clinic.

Students and faculty of the O.U. College of Dentistry, private dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and other community volunteers provide emergency care, exams, routine restorative care, cleanings, tooth sealants, and other preventive care to the needy children of the Oklahoma City metro area.
