Services ProvidedPreventivePreventive services include oral prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and patient education. (Before preventive services can be rendered, an initial assessment must be completed by a staff dentist, with a panorex and four bitewing x-rays). Preventive services are rendered by the staff hygienist. Oral SurgeryOral surgery includes basic extractions and other procedures to include biopsy of suspected soft tissue anomalies such as lesions, growths and tumors. Complex extractions and biopsies are referred to the UNC Dental School, Oral Surgery Clinic for diagnosis and treatment. RestorativeRestorative procedures shall include amalgam and resin fillings. Presently, no crowns, bridges or dentures are being fabricated. EndodonticsMultirooted teeth will be referred to the UNC Dental School, Endodontic Clinic for treatment. Single rooted teeth may be treated at the discretion of the LCHC staff dentist. Payment is based on Sliding Scale, Depending on Income & Family size. Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 8 pm; Saturday 8 am - 12 pm.
