• The Dental Clinic impacts the citizens of Cumberland County in a number of areas.
• Clinical services are provided for children ages birth to 14 years of age.
• Care is also provided for the inmates at the County Jail.
• During the school year, dental screenings are done for public school children attending pre-K, kindergarten, second grade, exceptional children, and fifth grade classes.
• The dental clinic also serves as an externship site for dentist, dental hygienist, and dental assistants.
• As time permits, oral health education is provided at various sites.
• The dental clinic staff coordinates and sponsors third grade posters contest during Childrens Dental Health month.
