They have been a part of the Outer Cape Community for over 30 years. Since Dr. Martinezs acquisition of the practice in 2003, initial updates were made to improve the interior of the office and the replacement of the old dental chairs and x-ray units.
The second phase of the updates, which was completed this last year, included the addition of two handicap bathrooms and complete renovation of the sterilization area.
Technological updates included digital radiography, which expose their patients to half the amount of radiation compared to traditional x-ray film, intraoral cameras, for better visualization of teeth and soft tissues, and upgrades to existing dental software to allow the conversion to a paperless office.
All these changes have been made in an effort to transform their practice into a green office.
From the restorative and auxiliary materials to the green cleaning process of their facility, they strive to become a completely green office.
