Lakeland Volunteers In Medicine (LVIM) is a volunteer-run medical clinic that provides free quality medical care to the working uninsured of Polk County.
LVIM currently has over 400 medical and lay volunteers who donate their time and expertise to care for LVIM patients.
Who can receive care?
Anyone who lives in the Polk County area and is unable to receive medical or dental care due to lack of insurance may be eligible, based on the following requirements:
Eligibility Requirements:
1. You must live in the Polk County area for at least three (3) months.
2. You do not have medical insurance.
3. Your income does not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Clinic Hours:
Monday: 8:00a.m - 12:00p.m
Tuesday - Friday: 8:00a.m - 5:00p.m
Saturday: 9:00a.m - Noon (based on physician availability)
Sunday: Closed
Please contact the dental clinics themselves to confirm that the hours and/or services have not changed.
