Mercy Medical Clinictheir clinic is a Christ-centered, state-licensed medical/dental clinic.
It is a member of the National Association of Free Clinics and is staffed with volunteer medical and dental providers, nurses, pastoral caregivers, Spanish interpreters and office personnel.
Patients who see the volunteer dentists are asked for a $15 donation but are not turned away if they are unable to pay.
They offer primary health care, dental care (on a limited basis), lab tests, and medications to uninsured patients only.
The clinic is open five days per week (Monday-Thursday and several Saturday mornings each month).
They are filled to capacity each day and patients are seen by appointment only.
New patients are being accepted on a limited basis each month.
In addition to being uninsured, new patients must be residents of Shelby or surrounding counties (Jefferson, Spencer, Anderson, Franklin, Henry, and Oldham).
Prices are subject to change, contact the clinic directly for current rates.
Note:
Only have dental Volunteers on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month but are looking for volunteers currently that will see patients during the week.
