The Nassau County Health Department Dental Clinic provides dental services forchildren ages 1-20.
Their children ages 1 and 2 are provided a dental examination and fluoride varnish treatment to prevent early childhood caries.
The parents of their 1 and 2 years old receive in depth oral hygiene education on how to promote good oral health for their young children and how to prevent dental decay.
Their children ages 3 - 20 are provided the following services:
- Dental Examination
- Prophylaxis (Cleanings)
- Oral Hygiene
- Instructions Dental Sealants
- Dental x-rays
- Fillings
- Extractions Nitrous Oxide if needed
Referrals as neededAdult dental services (Ages 21 and over) are limited depending on specific programs and referrals are available for uninsured adults.
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m - 5 p.m.
