Dentists for the Disabled and Elderly in Need of Treatment, Inc. (D-DENT) was founded in the Spring of 1986.
D-DENT is a 501(3) entity as determined by the Federal IRS and is registered with the State of Oklahoma as a non-profit organization available to tax-deductible donations.
Oral Health Education Through this program, a Registered Dental Hygienist provides free on-site oral cancer screenings, oral health education, and information regarding access to dental health care to participants and caretakers in group homes, senior nutrition centers, and living centers in central Oklahoma.
Screenings include visual, palpation, and when available, Identafi filtered light examination.
Comprehensive Restorative Dental CareThe Restorative Dental Care program matches volunteer dentists throughout the state with eligible D-DENT applicants.
The dentists and hygienists restore the oral health of each D-DENT patient in the comfort of their private clinics, free of charge.
To apply for this program you must submit a paper application, providing proof of income and proof of eligibility.
Faxed or E-mailed applications WILL NOT be accepted.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Closed, 12:00 Noon - 1:00 pm.
Fridays, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.
Please contact the dental clinics themselves to confirm that the hours and/or services have not changed.
